What We're Looking For:

Back Up Power SaaS Sales role is tasked with the introduction and execution of strategic initiatives that drive the deployment of Choosy Power’s energy solutions. This role is critical in advancing our mission to enhance grid reliability and efficiency through innovative battery storage solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the energy sector. This role involves managing the end-to-end process of deploying battery storage solutions, from sales strategy formulation to on-the-ground execution. You will work closely with installers, hardware teams, and customers to ensure seamless and efficient deployment of batteries on the grid.

Key Responsibilities:

- Craft and execute go-to-market strategies for Choosy Power’s energy solutions, aligning with our mission and business goals.

- Collaborate with installers, hardware providers, and customers to streamline processes and eliminate bottlenecks.

- Address the challenges of grid-scale and home battery storage by deploying solutions where grid interconnect already exists, avoiding long queues and transmission losses.

- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to facilitate smooth project execution.

- Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes based on data insights and industry trends.

- Prepare and present regular updates on project status to senior management and key stakeholders.

Existing forms of battery storage are falling short. Grid-scale storage is limited by long interconnect queues and inefficiencies caused by transmission distances. Home batteries are under penetrated due to high costs and the need to pair with solar. Choosy Power offers a scalable solution by deploying storage assets where grid interconnects already exist, co-located with power load to maximize efficiency and reliability.

Target Annual Compensation Range for this role will be $75,000 to $105,000, with a competitive benefits and equity component. The exact compensation will be determined by the skills, experience, and location of the qualified candidate.
