Our 10-week Summer Internship Program is designed to empower you and increase your future employment potential, all while providing invaluable resources to our business. This internship is perfect for proactive and self-motivated college juniors and seniors who have a genuine desire to learn about the energy industry. Throughout the program, you'll work on real projects and shoulder real responsibilities, gaining skills that can be applied to any workplace and setting yourself apart in a competitive job market.

The Ideal Candidate

As a Retention Sales Intern located in Austin, TX, we're looking for self-driven, high-caliber individuals who can tackle complex commercial challenges and use data to craft solutions. Internship Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Customer Care and Retention Sales teams to map and analyze core processes, identifying opportunities to engineer a seamless, low-effort experience that fosters customer loyalty.

  • Work toward achieving performance goals in customer retention, renewal sales, and additional product sales.

  • Engage with various teams, including voice, digital chat, online account management, telesales, digital app, and customer experience, to pinpoint opportunities for reducing customer effort and creating a seamless customer journey.

  • Learn the fundamental aspects of the retail energy industry, all while helping the team achieve outstanding results during the critical Texas summer season.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Field of Study: Business, Data Analytics, Speech Communications

  • Must have completed at least your second year of college with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Open office environment.

  • Primary Location of Employment: Austin. (Remote work on case by case basis)

  • Depending on placement and location, your workweek schedule will follow a hybrid model consisting of remote work and in-office hours to align with team needs.
