Job Summary:

As a Sales Training Specialist at Choosy Power, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our sales training strategy, supporting various sales channels. This role involves training both in-person and virtually to equip our sales agents and leaders with the skills needed to effectively sell Choosy Power partner's suite of energy and related products.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales vendors to plan, schedule, manage, and track their training requirements.

  • Identify training needs by understanding Choosy Power's sales and marketing strategic plans and evaluating current sales results.

  • Work with the Program Manager to create and implement a comprehensive "salesperson lifetime training" path, including ownership of training materials.

  • Conduct onboarding training, advanced training, and supplemental/ongoing training.

  • Identify business opportunities, such as process improvements and knowledge sharing, and work with Channel Managers and Vendor Managers to execute them.

  • Assist in audits of third-party vendors and in-house personnel to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, needs, and opportunities, allocate resources effectively, and prepare performance reports.

  • Collaborate with vendor management and channel sales teams to implement, monitor, and reassess quality improvement plans.

  • Assist in maintaining documentation of processes, complying with state and federal requirements related to audits, sales, and customer experience performance.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a cooperative and constructive environment for improvement.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience facilitating group learning (virtual and/or in-person).

  • Experience in developing training curriculum and content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • At least 1 year of experience in the energy industry.

  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design.

  • Proficiency with standard office workstation technology, including Microsoft Office suite or software tools.
